Back in June, the NCAA’s Division I Council introduced a proposal to amend the organization’s bylaws to allow wagering on professional sports by student-athletes, coaches and staff. The NCAA’s previous stance toward gambling prohibited sports wagering by all players, coaches and team officials on events sponsored by the NCAA.
